PADI OWSI #386253
Su started diving by chance. She happened to meet scuba instructors and their students at Oak Marr in August of 2012, just prior to a trip to Costa Rica, and decided it would be fun to learn to dive. She completed Open Water certification in September 2012, took her first ocean dive in Costa Rica in November 2012, and was hooked. She earned her Advanced Open Water in February 2013, then completed Navigation, Night, Nitrox, and Rescue specialties. She started the Divemaster program in November 2014 and completed it in August 2016 (after losing a few months to a back injury). She went on to complete Deep and Search & Recovery along with her Divemaster certification, and has since earned her Equipment Specialist rating. As a Divemaster, Su loves introducing students to the wonderful world of diving.

Su’s Thoughts on Diving: “When people ask me what superpower I would like, I tell them I already have one. I can already fly – underwater! There’s nothing like catching a current and seeing all the marine life up close and personal.”
