What is neutral buoyancy? Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they neither sink nor float. It can be a tricky thing. Divers who’ve mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. The Peak Performance Buoyancy course refines the basic skills you learned as an Open Water Diver and elevates them to the next level.
Prerequisites: Must be an Open Water Diver or a Junior Open Water Diver at least 10 yrs old
Class price includes:
-All instruction
-2 open water dives
-A comprehensive package of study materials and/or online course program
-Certification fees
*Course fee does not include any other snorkel or scuba equipment. Students must provide their own personal gear (masks, fins, snorkels, boots) which are available for purchase at the dive store and our friendly staff can professionally fit you for these items, if needed. BC, Regulator with dive computer, and wetsuits are available to rent at a discounted daily rate for students enrolled in our Peak Performance Buoyancy course. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation and personal items (swim suit, towel, etc).
