The Inactive Diver/Scuba Refresher Program is designed to update and review the knowledge and skill level of an inactive diver. Because this program can also be used as a catalyst for continuing education programs. Also as you take continuing education courses and record your training and experience in your dive log, you’ll find your certification is good indefinitely. When circumstances force you to take a break from diving for a year or more, a Scuba Refresher is needed.
Like a high school or college diploma, your certification never “expires.” But, skills get rusty and confidence gets shaky if you have not been underwater for an extended period of time.
Fortunately, there is an easy solution to this problem… just take one of our Scuba Refresher classes that we offer! You’ll start by getting in the pool with one of our Dive Professionals to practice the critical skills you learned in your Open Water Diver course. When we’re done, you’ll be ready to get back into the swing of things. A certificate of completion will be provided for your records.
Think of how much you plan to invest in your next dive vacation. Compared to this, the minimal time and modest expense of a Scuba Refresher is an inexpensive assurance that you won’t waste a moment of your vacation.
