We offer CPR and First Aid classes at both provider and professional levels.
Emergency First Response courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training. Emergency First Response also offers comprehensive First Aid at Work courses, specifically designed to meet national and international compliance standards for CPR and first aid courses in the workplace. Emergency First Response courses are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs. They can be taught together or alone in any combination.
Emergency First Response provider courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Participants learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level. The student masters the priorities and the procedures of patient care for in a non-stressful learning environment, which reduces the performance anxieties that interfere with learning and enhances confidence when rendering aid in a real medical emergency.
CPR/AED – 3.5 hours, $70
The Emergency First Response CPR & AED course teaches the basic principles of CPR for adults, children, and infants plus how to deploy and use an Automated External Defibrillation (AED) in an emergency situation.
This course is very popular for annual CPR (re-)training often required for the workplace. Course fee includes instruction, full color participant manual, and paper completion card valid for 2-years.
Primary Care + AED – 4.5 hours, $75
The Emergency First Response Primary Care plus AED Course teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care for adults through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.
Primary Care skills taught in this course include, Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defribrillation (AED) Deployment and Use, Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management.

A comprehensive CPR, AED and First Aid training class that teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies as well as injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. The course focuses on primary care, secondary assessment, and first aid for adults through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.

Primary & Secondary Care + Care for Children + AED – 8 hours, $120
A comprehensive CPR, AED and First Aid training course that teaches participants respond to life-threatening emergencies as well as injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening including how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old. Participants learn about the types of medical emergencies that children face, and how they differ from adults. The curriculum also includes the importance of attending to basic emergency situations with children, the emotional aspects of caring for children, secondary care for children, and preventing common injuries and illnesses in children. The Care for Children course content is based on guidelines from the Pediatric Working Group of ILCOR.
The course includes both primary care (CPR/AED) and secondary care (first aid) skills. The primary care portion of the course prepares the rescuer to help an adult, infant, or child with a life-threatening emergency such as choking or cardiac arrest. Skills taught in this portion of the course include, Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defribrillation (AED) Use, Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management. The Secondary care portion focuses on developing first aid skills and building the rescuer’s confidence to help an adult, infant, or child in need when emergency medical services are either delayed or unavailable.
