Craig is originally from the tropical islands of the U.K. where the diving is not unlike our local mid-Atlantic offerings.
Specialties: Wreck, Dry Suit, Full Face Mask, DPV, Navigation, Search and Recovery. You guessed it, anything that involves cold water and limited visibility – he gets homesick very easily.
Favorite Dive Sites and/or Types of Diving: Craig’s favorite dives are the North Carolina wrecks or fossil ledges, for both the historical significance and the challenge of some of the dives. He is not adverse to the blue water tropical sites though. He loves doing those also.
Fun Fact About Craig Outside of Diving: My real job is as a Forensic Analyst with a federal crime lab……..almost like CSI……..almost. So, I get to do two major cool things with my time.
Craig’s Thoughts on Diving: “The satisfaction of training well and earning a certification is just the beginning of the journey. Once the door is unlocked and you pass through it, there is no turning back. There is no way to ‘undo’ the experience of that first breath underwater, the first reef teaming with life, or the first large marine animal encounter. Train hard…….the rewards are endless.”
