DIVE THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND EXPLORE THE RAIN FORESTS OF COSTA RICA
National Geographic has called it “the most biologically intense place on Earth”.
This small country is sandwiched between two oceans and is home to a number of ecosystems. Costa Rica’s biodiversity does not end at its coastline: the country is a top dive destination, particularly along its Pacific shores. Costa Rica’s waters are home to a dazzling array of sea life.
If you’re hoping to see large shark species like bull, tiger and whale sharks, as well as manta, eagle and devil rays, the Bat Islands*, or Islas Murciélago, are your best bet. The Bat Islands are part of the Santa Rosa National Park, just off the Playas del Coco in NW Costa Rica. We’ll be diving with Rich Coast Diving, a PADI 5 Star CDC facility. The canopy adventure tour includes zip-lining, tubing, mud baths and horse back riding.
Your adventure leader, Kevin Davenport, is a PADI Dive Instructor. This trip is ideal for completing the Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, or Digital Underwater Photographer Diver certifications.
Join us on this amazing adventure as we head to the Pacific Ocean and the rainforests of Costa Rica!
