and Advanced Open Water in 2006. Then in 2012, Tom
became an Instructor.
Specialties: Enriched Air (Nitrox), Deep Diver, Drift Diver,
Wreck Diver, and Boat Diver.
Favorite Dive Sites and/or Type of Diving: Any day with compressed air is a good day but two of my favorites are shark feeding in the Bahamas or exploring the Spiegel Grove wreck off the coats of the Florida Keys.
Fun Fact About Tom Outside of Diving: When I’m not below the surface of the ocean, you’ll find me flying my Quicksilver MXL II Sport experimental aircraft.
Tom’s Thoughts on Diving: “The undersea world is a fascinating, often mesmerizing, place. Not only is it a part of the planet that most people never see but being underwater imparts a sense of adventure and a single-minded focus that is increasingly rare in our multi-tasking, fractured-attention surface world. Learning to dive is a life-altering choice. It is a privilege you earn and an accomplishment you take pride in. Come dive with me!”
