PADI Assistant Instructor #241346
Chuck started diving in July 2005 so he could dive during a cruise to Cozumel, and
realized he should’ve gotten certified years before. After progressing to PADI
Master Scuba Diver, he became a PADI pro in November 2008 so he could help others
avoid making the same mistake and stop putting off getting certified.
Chuck has dived along the East Coast, the Gulf of Mexico, and throughout the
Caribbean, but one of his favorite dive trips was when he and his sons just
wandered through northern Florida diving various springs and rivers.
When his older son joined a Cub Scout pack, Chuck also got involved in scouting.
Although both sons have “aged out”, he’s still a counselor for the Scuba Diving
Merit Badge and he accompanies groups to places like BSA’s Florida Sea Base in
the Florida Keys and to the annual ScubaJam event at Lake Phoenix.

Chuck’s Thoughts on Diving: “Whether I’m in a cold quarry in the mid-Atlantic, or
in the warm water of the Caribbean, or even in a pool, there’s nothing like the
sensation of breathing underwater.”
